I first need to send a friendly note for fellows in flash memory field. This YaFTL is not a production code and will not ever be. I only do this for research purpose. I probably prefer algorithm effectiveness over other consideration.

Searching for SPG info I have found your SPG blog (but I can't comment there) and I hope you can help me to find some documentation about the servo registers.
